Position Responsibilities: Works with the CEO to establish and achieve short and long-term goals for the practice and ensures the implementation of strategic business plans that are aligned with the vision, strategic plans, and goals of ORA. In collaboration with operation managers, responsible for directing, planning, supervising, prioritizing, and coordinating the services of clinic operations across all sites. Manages the design, implementation, standardization, and support of operating systems with a strong focus on patient access and flow, capacity utilization and analysis, and facility planning. Fosters the development of process redesign and improvement efforts within practice to ensure timely management of patients, efficient utilization of resources and consistent and predictable work systems. Advances the design and use of a management dashboard of operational metrics to provide ongoing feedback on operating system performance and to establish operational accountability structures for management and staff. Develops operating policy and procedures to ensure consistent, effective management of patients. Collaborates with IT and oversees efforts in the workflow design of EMR technology throughout practice. Oversees process to align people, process, and technology to ensure meaningful use of clinical systems. Assists in identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement & expense reduction. Designs approaches to improve the utilization of resources to reduce costs and/or enhance revenue cycle management. Builds and maintains positive and effective relationships among management, physicians, and staff so as to create a climate that ensures and builds respect, teamwork, open communication, and accountability. Facilitates resolution of operational conflicts and issues that emerge between management, physicians and/or clinical staff. Provides leadership and direction to operational managers in a collaborative environment that promotes job satisfaction, performance recognition, and stimulates innovative thinking to accomplish objectives as well as establishing expectations for high level of performance and holding individuals accountable for achieving them. Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to build and lead work teams to drive quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives. Proven clinic operator who understands systems and use of data analytics to drive operational, quality, and financial levers to positively affect results. Strong knowledge and experience in healthcare policies, operating procedures, and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with demonstrated success in managing conflict resolution and working collaboratively with physicians and other senior executives, both inside and outside of the practice. Strong organizational skills to manage competing timetables, responsibilities, and priorities. Leadership including exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving and decision making that achieves outcomes in a complex and changing industry. Education: Bachelor's degree in Health or Business Administration required, Masters preferred. Experience: 7 + years in a healthcare operations management position required.
