Overview JST is currently seeking a Software Engineer Level IV to join our team. The Software Engineer will support Federal Agencies in the development and deployment of technology-enabled, real property asset management systems. This is a full-time remote position. Software Engineer IV Responsibilities Work in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum Design, write, test, troubleshoot, and document application code to successfully deliver project-based work using .Net tools and technologies Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting project timelines Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends Ability to contribute to a variety of roles in software development life cycle, systems analysis, architecture, design, development, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation Ability to perform unit, system and interface testing associated with the application and its corresponding system interface areas, as well as provide guidance and assistance to client staff to support these testing activities Be willing to train and support clients on using solutions built using .Net tools and technologies Ability to develop and update project related process documents, artifacts, and training materials Meet or exceed targeted utilization billing hours Software Engineer IV Qualifications Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance A minimum of 8+ years of total experience in .Net programming and Azure Solid understanding of object-oriented programming 8+ years' experience in designing web application, REST APIs and database schema 8+ years' experience in Design & Development Skills .Net, MVC, VueJS, Web Services, Web APIs 8+ years in implementing the Azure services to web apps 8+ years developing, configuring, deploying applications using Microsoft Azure 8+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Azure Storage, Azure Development and Configuration, Azure Active Directory (AD), Document DB, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, MVC and SQL Server-based web applications 8+ years' experience in Microsoft Azure, Cloud Services, Azure Storage, Azure performance optimization Extensive experience working in agile development environment Software Engineer IV Desired Qualifications Experience in building services hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services Experience on Containerization, micro service development on Azure is preferred Experience migrating and integrating cloud services In-depth knowledge of design issues and best practices Required Clearances and Screenings MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check About Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) No objective is beyond reach!
