Position Purpose & Summary Customer service-oriented role. Leading staff and supervising the operations of the Pool Cafe. This is a collaborative job that requires working closely with a team. A position for a person who thrives in a fast-paced work environment enjoys meeting targeted sales running promotions and the challenge of motivating a team. Essential Functions: Maintains knowledge of, abides by, and enforces Colorado Liquor laws Ensure physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurant, furnishings, and workstations. Provides a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff, members, and guests. Monitor food quality and service level. Assists with monitoring payroll and revenue daily. Assists with ordering, organizing and inventory control of all products. Responds proactively to staff and guest concerns. Attends and conducts daily staff line ups including the Enrichment News. Available to work various hours and shifts dictated by needs of the operation. Coordinate shifts for staff to ensure that there are enough members of the team working to cover all open hours. Answers and responds to phone messages. Actively assists and proactively engages with all duties required for operations. Ensures that all food and beverage orders are delivered correctly and promptly. Be prepared to speak to the offerings of the entire Resort and Spa including services offered and hours of operation. Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points. Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Assign and oversee duties to make sure that all tasks are done to the appropriate standard by closing time. Responsible for coordinating staff breaks to ensure all team members are provided required breaks. Provides Director of Restaurants/F&B Assistant Manager or Executive Sous Chef a list of all products needed or taken from the restaurant. Required to provide a daily log of any issues or customer complaints to Manager. Ensures that all orders are inputted correctly and efficiently into Jonas. Secures and processes payment quickly and accurately. Maintain all guest checks and complete shift paperwork as assigned. Understands functions of departments across resort property. Articulates location of departments and services when required. Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction. Provide extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature." Embrace, embody, demonstrate, and encourage wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments. Uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values. Be empowered to make things go right if they go wrong. Give the guest/member a fond farewell. Address feedback by utilizing the LEARN Model. Demonstrate a professional appearance and be attentive to what matters most. Comply with company policies and procedures. Observe and adhere to safety guidelines. Marginal Functions: Perform other duties as assigned. Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed. Displays care in use of equipment and maintains an organized and professional work environment. Position Requirements: Minimum Knowledge & Skills: Leadership skills Customer Service Communication Skill Business Aptitude Problem Solving Time Management Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent 2 years food and beverage experience 1 year supervisor and or Management experience License, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Driver's license required. Must be 21 years or older. Serve Safe Food Handlers Certificate (may be provided by organization upon acceptance of position) External and Internal Personal Contact: Communications: Daily - Written Verbal Weekly - Written Verbal Occasionally - Participate in one-on-one coaching sessions. Teamwork and Collaboration: This position requires continuous teamwork as well as internal and cross-departmental communication. Training and meetings may require collaboration with outside vendors and product specialists.
