Position -Payroll Clerk Payroll Clerk will assist the Payroll & Benefits Administrator with processing a bi-weekly payroll, benefit enrollments and process new hires, terminations, transfers and promotions. Requirements: High school diploma required 2-3 years' experience in clerical environment Must have previous experience in payroll ADP experience is a plus Responsibilities: Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions Process new employee, terminations, transfers and promotions Systematically record maintenance including new hire setup, tax form processing, timekeeping input, benefits setup, terminations, garnishments, and other functions as needed Complete I-9 for new hires and maintain I-9 records Conduct benefit enrollments for new hires and annual Accurately and timely completion of any state requests and verifications Collect and compile payroll data and enter data using appropriate software Update payroll records by recording changes including insurance coverage, salary increases and deductions Cross training and back-up responsibilities of other payroll resources as assigned Understand FMLA/LOA policies and legal requirements Tracking of FMLA/LOA Assist with Workers Compensation claims Resolve issues and answer payroll related questions Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential Track and follow up on employees who are either out of work on a worker's comp injury or on temporary light duty Benefits: Competitive wages Excellent Benefits including medical, dental, vision, supplemental and disability insurance 401k with company match Nine paid holidays a year Paid-time off ARE YOU "HONESTLY BETTER"?
