Shipping and Receiving / Parts Counter Associate Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401k, life, paid time off, paid holidays Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving/Parts Counter Associate is responsible for shipping and receiving product, moving product into inventory and keeping the stock room organized. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon a strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and efficiently handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at once. Duties and Responsibilities: Receive deliveries, verify accuracy and condition of contents, distribute to proper department or associate and file paperwork Identify any problems with a delivery and take required steps to resolve them Receive daily and weekly parts orders by verifying part numbers and quantities and allocate them to the proper location in stock room or Parts department Respond promptly to shipping requests by arranging delivery of product using third party software, securely packaging contents, notifying sender of details and filing required paperwork Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving and warehouse areas Performs various warehouse activities as instructed Adhere to department safety policies and procedures Requirements: Shipping and receiving and warehouse experience is preferred High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Skilled in operating pallet jack Basic mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Job Posted by ApplicantPro
