Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Purchasing Agent/ Inventory Control Specialist. The Purchasing Agent/Inventory Control Specialist manages purchases of inventory based on inventory analysis and projected demand.Responsibilities: Develop sales forecasts and prepares orders from suppliers working with the brand managers along with inventory projections and analysis Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or other closely related degree required is preferred OR 5-10 years of related industry experience Knowledge and experience with inventory management systems/process Skills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and as a part of a team Attention to detail and well organized Effective oral and written communication skills including accuracy and spelling Excellent computers skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing software Ability to manage multiple priorities Supply management background or experience Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple demands Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis Ability to use arms, hands, reach and grasp Ability to sit long periods of time Frank Beverage Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
