Technical Operations Regional Manager

Technical Operations Regional Manager Position is accountable for managing technical needs and product and field support of all current and new product technologies for the ErgonArmor Business Unit (EABU) and to manage technical deliverables between the Business Unit (i.e. Management [Mgt], Operations [Ops] and Sales and Marketing [SM]), third party manufacturers and Paragon Technical Services, Inc. (PTSi) Provide field technical support, product demonstrations and training to SM and customers to advance the market position of all existing products as well as market introduction of new products. Provide proficiency and expertise in all aspects of coating and linings industry specifications, product handling and applications, and field application problem solving. Serve as product application technology experts: storage and handling, environmental conditions, material quality & defects, surface preparation, product application, equipment maintenance & operation, product handling, clean-up & disposal, failure mechanism and forensic analysis. Establish a cooperative and productive working environment that is conducive to a large corporate structure and current corporate culture. Engage in and assist in resolving customer complaints related to product performance issues. Engage in and assist in resolving Ops QC and manufacturing issues. Support SM by assisting with demonstration videos, jobsite photos and case histories. Education: Bachelor Degree or minimum 5 years experience in all required Key Accountabilities and Principle Purposes Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial coatings and linings, roofing, waterproofing or related industries, NACE III or equivalent certification Special Skills/Knowledge: Work effectively and efficiently within a corporate structure, Proficiencies in Computers, Communication, Negotiating, Chemistry, Product Testing/QC, Field/Product Applications, Leadership and Teamwork Other duties/responsibilities: As required by upper management Manages Others (Yes/No): No Other Job Specifications: Job Location: Mississippi preferred but will consider other locations for well-qualified candidates.
