Marathon Targets designs, manufactures, and operates autonomous robotic target systems to provide the most realistic live fire training in the world. The targets address a fundamental training gap: the first time that shooters fire live ammunition at a realistic moving target is during a real firefight. Marathon is a relatively small dynamic company with a tight knit group of employees who take pride in their ability to have an immediate impact on increasing warfighter performance. Tasks Primary tasks include: Work will include repair of active fleet Robotic Target inventory Debug and repair of sub-component parts returned from the field Assembly/testing of new parts Assistance with R&D projects for new robot types Assistance on production line during production runs There may be occasional trips to the field to assist in running robots on the range Skills/Attributes Candidates should have prior experience working with tools in an electro-mechanical environment A high mechanical aptitude and some basic experience with electrical debugging Ability to take instruction remotely and then work independently High problem solving skills A high aptitude for low voltage debugging High Motivation - a go getter!
