The Women's Healthcare Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist committed to continuing our tradition of excellent patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, diagnosis, and health insurance . With superior professionalism and communication skills, you're driven by a desire to help make patients' healthcare experiences as comfortable, efficient, and rewarding as possible. Full Time M-F. Starting wage range $15-$17/hr. Great benefits: Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays (7 - including the day after Thanksgiving). Daily Responsibilities include: Greet and Welcome patients & visitors (in person & on the phone) Register patients according to established protocols Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, transfer calls as required Collect co-pays and payment Required Work Experience & Education: High school degree; additional certification a plus Proven work experience as a Medical Office Receptionist or customer service role Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines / printers) Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications Solid written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis preferred. Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred Success in this role looks like: Consistently prepared for the workday with a professional attitude and appearance Accurately enters patient information.
