Shipping Coordinator

Description:
The successful candidate will handle outbound shipping and any returns or replacements. The candidate will also assume responsibility for offsite inventory, supervision of the packing team, truck loading, and execution of shipping and documentation activities required for outbound shipping, maintain the shipping area organized.When necessary, the candidate will also cross-train and participate in other aspects of the business, particularly on the administrative side. Tasks Work with contract employees to maintain shipping schedule Work closely with team leads to maintain shipping dates Enter packing information into SAP Send packing information and work closely with the traffic and warehouse team to meet shipping dates Assist with packing requirements Oversee shipments being loaded and unloaded Tag all outbound shipments with proper shipping labels Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, including those which may not be directly related to this job classification Create/Update all off-site storage ID#s for everything going to/from offsite Print tags and label everything accordingly Communicating between different departments (ML, Marketing, CS, PE, ect..) to transfer goods back and forth Communicate between Buhler and CSP (off site storage) to transfer good back and forth Loading and unloading of trucks and trailers Documentation of everything being transferred between locations, includes creating BOLs Cleaning up/Maintaining organization of AVR system Required qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred SAP knowledge preferred Microsoft excel Shipping documentation: BOL's packing lists Packing experience Truck loading and unloading experience Customer Service experience Safe working habits Good cooperation and communication skills Maintenance of a neat and clean work area Forklift driving Haz mat certificate is a plus Detailed oriented Benefits International and successful company with sustainable prospects for the future Wide technical & modern environment with interesting challenges Professional environment with an open communication culture Exciting development and training opportunities Great and dynamic work environment Health Insurance with Health Savings Account Dental Vision and Life Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability 401(k) with 6% company contribution 15 days vacation Sick Time Maternity and Paternity Leave Job Posted by ApplicantPro
