Our Resident Services Director (Director of Nursing) is responsible for the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of resident care for the community. What will you do as a Resident Services Director (DON)? Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services. Act as the contact for all issues related to resident care Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations Provide activities of daily assistance to the residents as needed Provide training and orientation to all Care Partners, Nurses, and Medication Care Partners Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements Review all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of employees with attention paid to consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel Supervise, develop, and schedule the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards. Establish and maintain the medication program. Perform assessments and reassessments according to policies. Ensure resident records and charting is current and up to date. If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat: Positive team player attitude and love working with people! LPN/LVN/RN with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word. A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, good judgment; employing professional ethics, good communication skills, and the ability to motivate. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and be on-call 24/7. Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus!
