Christian Care Communities is currently seeking a Dietary Aide for our Christian Health Center located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. $500.00 Sign On Bonus Our Mission is to enhance the journey of life for older adults. The community offers a quality senior living experience on our lovely 40-acre tree-lined community with an array of garden home styles, apartments, and services including our 116-bed skilled nursing and rehab area. Title: Dietary Aide Shifts: Evenings 11:30 am - 7:30 pm or 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Status: Full-Time Requirements for Dietary Aide: High School diploma or equivalent 1 or more years' experience in food service or dining services preferred 1 or more years' experience in a long-term health care setting Responsibilities for Dietary Aides: The Dietary Aide is primarily responsible for performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the Dietary. Wrap silverware, get tray line started, prepare cart, place food items on trays, clean line and run dishes after lunch and supper. The Cook/Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving meals according to cycles menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparing meal service, and performing assigned work and cleaning routines for the Dietary Department while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and organization standards. Working in a skilled nursing facility you will be paying attention to special diets such as pureed, chopped, low sodium, etc. Regular duties include wrapping silverware, working tray line, preparing meal carts, cleaning and dish washing.
