A Geotechnical and Environmental consultancy, specialising in Ground Investigation and Risk backssments, are seeking a main grade geo: environmental engineer to join their Newcastle based team on a range of projects across the North: East. With more than 30 years of expertise in Ground and Coal Mining backssments, working with geo: environmental and geotechnical specialists, the expanding business have the resources and projects to support you in the next stage of your career. This Geo: environmental Engineer position is offering: A top salary (GBP26,000 : GBP32,000). Company pension scheme and benefits. Varied work with a niche team size allowing for quick progression. The site and office based Geo: environmental Engineer position will involve work on a range of contaminated land, site investigation, coal mining risk backssments and remediation projects. The successful candidate will be carrying out desktop studies, report writing, risk backssments and working with the team to ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standard, within Health and Safety standards. The Geo: environmental Engineer successful should: Have a degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology (or a similar/relevant subject). Have experience as a geo: environmental engineer/consultant. Have or be working towards chartership. Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence. Be commutable to Newcastle upon Tyne. Have a full right to work in the UK.
