HR and Employment law Specialist – Cabo Verde Location: Cabo Verde / Cape Verde Salary: Depending on Experience Background: Hotel; Hospitality; Restaurant Sector Must have relevant and current experience of Republic of Cabo Verde / Cape Verde regulations and employments laws. This is an exceptional opportunity for an on-property or corporate HR specialist of Employment Law to join this Hospitality group. This is a new position in the Human Resources division. We are looking for a talented, hands-on Legal with HR or Human Resources / HRBP with Legal professional. You will join a team in the HR Department and, your mission will be to: - Be the champion of employment law and referent on anything related to it- Support the HR Department, Managers and Executives during the recruitment process, annual review, disciplinary meetings, dismissal cases, etc. - Ensure the smooth implementation of the Human Resources regulations, tools and strategies set by the company across the operation- As part of the HR team, you will support on the day-to-day HR needs and ensure best practices- Work with executive and operations to continually improve associates and work environment. The background/profile we are looking for: - Legal or Human Resource degree and/or qualification- Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential. - Must have local knowledge including laws, regulations and compliance demands- Previous experience within a Hotel/Resort or Hospitality related industry is highly appreciated- Must be an HR with Legal or Legal in HR division- An individual with a solid character- Passionate and focused on delivering the highest quality service to internal and external customers. - Professional skills to function effectively and independently- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative. - Good understanding of MS Office tools ; use of HR information systems is a plus We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about her.
