My client, a leading civils and rail contractor with a remarkable GBP1.4 billion turnover specialising in the delivery of high: profile infrastructure projects, and commitment to excellence has established them as a trusted name in the industry. Currently, they are embarking on a significant power upgrade and signalling scheme, and are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to play a crucial role in its successful execution. Position Overview: As a Site Engineer, you will be an integral part of the project team responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the civils, rail power upgrade and signalling scheme. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1 Civils Expertise: Utilize your civil engineering knowledge to oversee and manage civil works associated with the power upgrade and signalling scheme. 2 ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans): Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards. 3 QA (Quality Assurance): Implement and maintain a robust Quality Assurance system, conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications. 4 PTDs (Project Task Documents): Prepare and manage Project Task Documents, detailing tasks, resources, and timelines to facilitate efficient project execution. 5 TBs (Technical Briefings): Provide technical briefings to project teams and subcontractors, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements and expectations. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civils and rail projects. Familiarity with ITPs, QA processes, PTDs, and TBs.
