First Baptist Church of Vidalia, LA is looking for a full-time Student Pastor (6th Grade 12th Grade). We are a healthy and growing church that highly values and supports student ministries. Currently, we have a core group of 50 students, and we reach up to 80 on Wednesday nights.We are looking for someone with energy, passion, and the spiritual gifts needed to make disciples, preach the Word, equip parents/leaders, reach teens at area schools, lead mission trips/camps/retreats, be proficient with technology/media/graphics, and enjoys hanging out with students. Someone with a bachelors degree and seminary training is preferred. Staff:Senior Pastor: Brad WatsonSince December 2022Worship Pastor: Joseph McGuffeySince November 2021Childrens Minister Director - Carrie Vest For over 10 yearsChurch statistics:30% increase in Sunday School Attendance from 2022-202336% increase in Worship Attendance from 2022-202318 Baptisms in 202328 New Members in 2023 Meet the Vikings (event): Hosted the Vidalia H.S. Football Team, Coaching Staff, and Cheerleaders for Worship Service and Church Wide Cookout. Vidalia H.S. FCA: Grown from less than 10 in 2022 to over 30 in 2023 Trunk or Treat : Reach over 1,500 people. Summer Camp : 50 Students/Adults went to M-Fuge.
