We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant who is comfortable talking with guests and will make them feel at ease. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities: • Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager• Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed Qualifications: • 1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position• Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills• We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds About Company: Come and join our strong team here at Embassy Suites Lubbock where we like to Make A Difference with our employees, our guests, and our community.
