Director of Banquets Salary: 100,000 - 120,000 Annually Location: Washington, DCMy client is looking for a Director of Banquets. They are a premier provider of upscale hospitality experiences who embrace the passion for providing guests with luxurious and relaxing escapes. The Director of Banquets is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of all banquet functions. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring events run smoothly and guest satisfaction is achieved Lead, train, and mentor banquet staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to hotel and union standards Monitor the banquet budget, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations Ideal Director of Banquets: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a unionized hotel environment Strong understanding of union regulations and contract stipulationinteractionceptional leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office If you’re interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to Declan today COREcruitment are experts in recruiting for the service sector.
