Manager, Peer Support and Social Enterprise Full-Time, Contract (Ending: May 9, 2025) London, Ontario - Application Deadline: January 8, 2024- We’re working to ignite hope and foster change for people in our community experiencing mental health or addictions challenges. As the manager of Peer Support and Social Enterprise, you’ll champion positive changes and empower those we support, with a specific focus on the benefits of lived experience through leading our dynamic Peer Support Team, by strengthening partnerships within our community to build upon existing and new opportunities. You will also manage our Public Education Programs and will be responsible for implementing and evaluating a public education model following best practices as well as advancing social enterprise programs across the region. Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC. WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: What you'll be making - $37.85 to $40.83 per hour , rate based on backssment of comparable, previous experience When you'll work – 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday Your pension plan – Immediately eligible for optional enrollment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING A DIFFERENCE: backss peer support needs within each community to develop appropriate programs and services, ensuring that programs and services adhere to best-practices and relevant standards (e. g. accreditation, government, organizational and professional standards) Identify and investigate possible opportunities.
