Class 1: #159120 - Tuscaloosa Student: 4-year-old child Availability: Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 4 pm Lesson frequency: 2 x per week Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Tuscaloosa, AL (ZIP: 35406) Current English level: Novice Native language: German Student’s language needs and goals: Preparing for school Class 2: #168974 - Vance Student: 3-year-old child Availability: Tuesday afternoon Lesson frequency: 1 x per week Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Vance, AL (ZIP: 35490) Current English level: Novice Native language: German, but speaks English at school Student’s language needs and goals: Parents have requested an assessment in person to help determine where the child is at with his level Class 3: #167894 - Northport Student: 4-year-old child Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 3:30 to 5:30pm Lesson frequency: 1 x per week Location: Lessons are to be held at the family's home in Northport, AL (ZIP: 35475) Current English level: Novice Native language: German, but speaks English at school Student's language needs and goals: General English speaking and reading, games in English/songs (everything to improve fluency in English) Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
