Job Summary The IT Operations and Security Manager at Islamic Relief Canada will provide essential support to the Sr Technology Manager by overseeing the organization's IT operations, helpdesk, information security, and network and infrastructure management. This position will manage a team of three professionals, ensuring the organization's IT operations and infrastructure is robust and secure, and support the needs of its various departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities IT Operations: Champion the seamless and proficient running of the IT and Information Security Services. Strategize and supervise the upkeep of IT assets and technological infrastructure. Monitor IT events, manage incidents, and address operational issues to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. Facilitate Level 2 and 3 support coordination with IT service providers. Collaborate across Technology Teams to guarantee cohesive IT operations and service delivery. Help Desk: Oversee the help desk function, ensuring timely response and resolution to IT-related issues. Own and monitor help desk performance metrics and continually look for ways to improve service levels. Information Security: Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
