We are recruiting for an Orthodontic Therapist, to join this friendly and professional team located in Swindon. The Working Hours This permanent role is available on a part-time basis - ideally for 2 or 3 days per week. Surgery space available: Mondays to Fridays (8:30am to 5:30pm) and Saturdays (8:30am to 2pm) The Role You will be working on behalf of the Orthodontist by prescription, providing the best patient journey possible. Within this role, you will be responsible for taking impressions, inserting passive and removable orthodontic appliances, inserting removable appliances activated or adjusted by an Orthodontist / Dentist, removing fixed appliances, orthodontic adhesives, and cement. You will provide treatment and education of orthodontic hygiene and will appropriately advise and refer patients to Dentists for further investigation or treatment as is clinically identified and required. You will provide care under the NHS and on a private basis. About this Practice & Team The practice is situated near the Railway Station, and offers access to several bus stops, regular bus services, and free parking nearby. The practice offers a decontamination room, digital x-rays, a staff room / facilities, and is conveniently situated near a park and an array of shops for break times! The team offers a range of NHS, Private and Specialist service options, with specialist Implant, Periodontic, Endodontic, Cosmetic, Dental Hygiene and Orthodontic services. You will be joining a large, friendly team, offering an experienced and efficient Practice Manager, Practice Coordinator, Dental and Orthodontic Nursing Team.
