Salary on offer: Embedded Software Engineer: GBP 50,000 : GBP 65,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Hybrid Working: Working fully remote within the UK is available. Hybrid of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH as well as working 5 days a week onsite is available and fine to do so. The role: The successful Embedded Software Engineer will work within a diverse, highly skilled and innovative technology team to design, test and implement embedded software solutions in a comprehensive range of the company's exceptional products and systems connected over a range of industry leading sectors. Key Skills: : 3:5+ years minimum industry experience : Experience of developing real time embedded software for devices and products : Embedded Software Programming in C, C++ : Object: Oriented Programming languages : Visual Basic, C++, Java, C : Embedded system development : Experience of microcontroller and microprocessors : Real Time Operating systems : Free RTOS, Windows Desktop, Thread X, Azure RTOS or similar : Familiar with ARM M: Cortex or similar processors : STM32 experience would be an advantage : Embedded IDE Environment : Visual Studio, MPLAB X, Keil etc Desirable nice to have skills: : Video Codecs : x86 CPU's : Scripting and database languages : Perl, Python, SQL, Ruby : Knowledge of FPGA's : VHDL, Xilinx or similar : Network.
