JustinBradley's client, an international alternative asset manager, is searching for a Staff Accountant to their Washington, DC headquarters. With over $4 billion under management and demonstrated long-term success, this firm is poised for continued expansion.The Staff Accountant, working closely with the VP of Accounting, will aid in general ledger and financial analysis activities. The Staff Accountant will be involved in supporting financial monitoring and reporting of the firm's managed private equity funds. Highlighted Responsibilities: Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes; Record cash transactions and bank entries. Perform monthly bank reconciliations; Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly journal entries; Maintain investment distribution schedules and prepare distribution payments; Aid with monthly financial reporting; Assist with the annual budget, tax, and audit processes. A well-qualified candidate will possess the following: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; At least one year of accounting experience; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Sage 300 is preferred.
