Assistant Management Accountant MM Consulting house Location: UK – Central London 4 days office/ 1 day remote Salary: Up to £35,000 basic We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have some experience within the hospitality sector, a keen eye for detail, and a high level of accuracy. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts for Sites including P&L’s variance analysis and commentaries Assist with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Prepare and distribute the weekly P&L flash forecast reporting and assist the business with periodic analytical information Prepare and deliver on all key weekly objectives ensuring OKRs are met Prepare and deliver the month-end closing processes ensuring all relevant month end journals – accruals, prepayments, stock, depreciation, deferred revenue are accurately recorded Assist with budgeting and forecasting Provide support for two accounts assistant making sure Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions run effectively Developing and maintaining a strong commercial relationship with all key stakeholders Assist with ensuring all relevant financial controls and regulatory reporting is embedded within the department. The perfect canddiate: Disciplined, high level of integrity Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent e. g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AATAdvanced Excel knowledge with exposure to Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas The ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative to problem solve Organised with good attention to detail Quick to learn and adaptable to changing work allocation and able to prioritise workload to meet challenging deadlines Strong analytical skills Strong communication & relationship building skills Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude Desirable: Experience working with XEROExperience working within the hospitality sector What we offer: Succession Planning Flexible working / 4 days office – 1 day.
