It is a job which requires strict boundaries with patients and staff alike. We need someone who can accurately track a patient’s progress and growth through our program while ensuring all reports and forms are filled out accurately and maintained properly. You will be expected to develop realistic treatment goals for our clients which are ethical, follow clinical practices and maintain the highest professional standards. Individuals with a background in addiction treatment or human services strongly preferred. Opportunities for growth. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, staff, physicians, visitors, and other staff. Professional boundaries must be maintained at all timesCollect information about clients using assessments, tests, interviews, discussions, observations, etc. and distil information into detailed notes tracking progress as neededPrepare and maintain all required treatment records and reportsProvide therapy to clients individually and in group sessions with the goal of overcoming dependencies and making positive changesCollaborate with team members in staff meetings, and occasionally with the clinical supervisionCreate treatment plan goals with client which follow procedures, adhere to code of ethics, meet legal clinical practice protocols, and maintain professional standards Skills: Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)Familiarity with substance treatment industry: 12 step terminology, etcProficiency in KIPU Systems Client Management Software Experience: Licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC Additional Certificates & Licenses: CPR/First AIDValid Driver’s License Other Requirements: Negative TB test results within past yearAbility to pass random drug screenings Physical Demands: The employee needs to be able to: Sit for long periods of timeType and view computer screenOperate office equipment including phone, printer, copier, etc.Communicate clearly, quickly and efficiently with clients and staff Work Location: Santa Ana, CA - On site; remote positions not available.Powered by JazzHR
