Sales Estimator / Engineer – Oldham - Manufacturing About The Company & Role My client is an established, family-owned engineering business dedicated to solving complex problems for technically demanding customers world-wide. They have an extensive track record of delivering innovative solutions and products to a variety of industry sectors including Scientific Equipment, Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence and Medical sectors. Due to a growing order back and succession planning they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Estimator. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining client relationships, undertaking sales estimates, generating quotations and providing technical advice relating to products and production processes. Successful candidates should have a strong background in Technical Sales Estimation and Customer / Supplier Liaison with the desire to deliver results. Previous experience in a similar role gained within technical manufacturing, engineering solutions, scientific equipment, electronics or similar would be extremely desirable. Sales Estimator / Engineer - Package Details £42,000 to £49,500 Basic Dependent on Experience37.5 Hour Working Week – Monday to Friday Pension Sales Estimator / Engineer – Requirements NVQ Level 4 HND or equivalent qualification or higher Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and suppliers Proficiency in costing methodologies based on engineering drawings Experience in a manufacturing.
