You’ll support us in providing a high-quality, cost-effective repairs and maintenance service for our properties across Greater London (including Esinteraction, Hertfordshire, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Cambridge), driving cost control and efficiency of spend. Typical day as a Quantity Surveyor Supporting our teams in delivering value for money services working closely with our trades, maintenance managers, subcontractors and suppliers. You’ll be ensuring high levels of performance, productivity, quality, compliance and cost-effective services. Conducting site visits to measure and value works including pricing, negotiating and agreeing budgets and cost variations, as well as checking project costs. Monitoring contractor performance, cost to serve analysis, cost breakdown, demand understanding, workload and workforce profiling. Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Ensure the effective use of our works order systems, maximising efficient use of work scheduling and ensuring accurate data recording.
