News Reporter Collier County WINK News is seeking a talented and experienced TV News Reporter to cover news in Collier County. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and reporting news stories for daily newscasts, with a focus on providing accurate and timely information to our viewers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for journalism and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Naples/Marco Island and Collier County is the country’s top locale to live and work. Key Responsibilities: - Research and report on news stories in Collier County, with a focus on community-based stories- Conduct interviews with relevant sources- Write and produce news reports daily- Develop and maintain contacts within the community- Stay up-to-date on news and current events in Collier County- Collaborate with other reporters, editors, and producers to ensure accurate and engaging news coverage- Meet deadlines and work well under pressure Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field preferred- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a TV news reporter- Strong writing and communication skills- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and or weekends- Familiarity with video editing software and equipmentIf you are passionate about journalism and providing accurate news coverage to the community, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
