Responsibilities: As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery on the highways scheme. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1 Setting Out and Surveying: Accurately set out and survey key points on the construction site. Ensure that work is carried out to the required standards and specifications. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and backssments to identify and resolve any issues promptly. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination. Provide technical support and solutions to any on: site challenges. Health and Safety: Champion a strong safety culture by adhering to and enforcing health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up: to: date site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and as: built drawings. Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are in place. Qualifications and Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highway projects. Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and relevant software. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to a safe working environment.
