For more information, visit metalsa.comMain Responsibilities: Engineering Co-OpValidate current manufacturing processes to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and communicate and conduct training on improvementsAnalyze best practices and develop manufacturing processes to achieve plant objectives through problem-solvingManage systems and process controls, documentation of projects and standard work instructions, and area tools and equipmentAssist engineering team in other various operations productivity improvement or special projectsAssist engineering team in processing, quoting, implementing, launching, and maintaining engineering changes, collaborate with other areas, and provide shop floor supportRecommend fixture and process designs, and assist engineering and quality team in customer corrective ActionsPerform additional responsibilities as required; position is subject to change as the needs of the department changeAcademic and Experience2 years of undergraduate studies working toward a Bachelor's degree in Engineering requiredMinimum of 2 years experience in process engineering preferredExperience in the automotive/manufacturing industry preferredKnowledge of OSHA/Safety standards and practices preferred Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience preferredWhat is in it for you?
