Production Manager CNC/ Sheet Metal Deeside£40,000- £50,000 + Progression + Training + 25 Days Holiday + Early Finish Fridays My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team due to continued growth and expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking market leading manufacturer, at a pivotal time. Production Manager Requirements: Experience working in a sheet metal environment Knowledge of CNC Punch/Press break machinery Experience managing teams and organising workloads Production Manager Duties: Supervise component manufacture in accordance with the production schedule issued by Production Control. Check all machinery is safe to use. Report immediately and take remedial action if any machinery is unsafe or not functioning correctly. Ensure all guarding is in place and is fit for purpose. Advise the Operations Manager of any maintenance or consumables requirements. Continually backss production methods and propose better working practices. Check first offs conform to specification. Continually check and monitor component quality. Monitor raw material stock levels weekly and liaise with Purchasing and Production Control about stock requirements. Liaise with production control for order requirements and report any deficiencies or concerns that might jeopardise the production schedule. Making sure there is sufficient staffing to fulfil order requirements, anticipating and arranging overtime and signing off as necessary. To ensure the finished components match the expected quality standards in readiness for paint. Allocate / book completed works orders on ERP system. Be fully responsible for and implement Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements in the CNC department. Liaise with other departments regarding requirements; communicate regularly with the Operations Manager on the workflow and ensure KPI’s are maintained. Ensure compliance.
