Job title: Senior Bar Manager Location: Brussels Start: ASAPSalary: €3000 - €5000 + perks The role: You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and ensuring the overall profitability of the bar. You will lead a team of bartenders and support staff to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for patrons. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and other support staff. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge. Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues promptly. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste. Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to maximize productivity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment maintenance. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded. Interact with patrons to address any concerns or feedback and ensure a positive experience. Train staff to provide knowledgeable and friendly service, promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty. Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and tact. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Monitor sales performance and implement pricing and promotional strategies as needed. Control costs through effective inventory management, labor scheduling, and waste reduction. Prepare and analyze financial reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
