Gilbert Public Schools invites applications for the following position: Assistant Principal Location: Greenfield Junior High School Date Available: 7/1/24 Purpose Statement: The job of Assistant Principal is done for the purpose of supporting the Principal, performing school site activities as may be delegated by Principal, and representing the school within the district and community. Minimum Qualifications: • Arizona Administrative certificate • 2 years of successful administrative experience preferred • Proven leadership abilities, and ability to work with staff, students, and parents. • Strong human relations skills. • Knowledge of secondary curriculum and instruction. • Ability to facilitate group processes for collaborative management. • Knowledge of technology and how it is used in an educational setting. Education: Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution. Experience: Job-related experience within the specialized field is required. Certificates & Licenses: Appropriate Certification as listed by the Arizona Department of Education
