Gilbert Public Schools invites applications for the following position: PreK-12 Advanced Learning Coordinator Location: Teaching and Learning Date Available: 7/1/24 Purpose Statement: To provide leadership, coaching and professional development to support and strengthen the implementation of gifted and advanced learning in GPS throughout levels pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades. Minimum Qualifications: • Arizona teacher certification • Gifted endorsement preferred • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). • Experience in using technology for disaggregating data, analysis of data and other purposes. • Experience working with gifted learners in elementary and secondary schools • Experience mentoring/coaching teachers - preferred Education: Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution. Experience: Job-related experience within the specialized field is required. Certificates & Licenses: Appropriate Certification as listed by the Arizona Department of Education
