Position Overview: As the Director of Operations - Facilities and Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational processes, managing facilities, and leading construction projects. This role requires a dynamic leader with a comprehensive understanding of operations, facilities management, and construction, coupled with the ability to drive efficiency and excellence in all facets of our business. Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless operational workflows. Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and functionality of company facilities. Implement best practices for facility management and workplace optimization. Construction Project Management: Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for operations, facilities, and construction projects. Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Implement and oversee safety protocols for facilities and construction sites. Vendor and Contractor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Negotiate contracts and ensure quality standards are met. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and executive leadership. Ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business objectives. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational and project performance. Provide regular reports to executive leadership on operational and project status. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in operations leadership, facilities management, and construction project management. Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and construction best practices.
