Randstad Construction, Property and Engineering are recruiting for a Technical Facilities Manager with ideally a mechanical or electrical bias for a leading FM client. The role is based in the North East of Scotland, with some travel and hybrid working. As a Technical Facilities Manager you will be managing a large team of multi skilled engineers working on well known hospitality and retail contracts. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems, small installation projects, servicing and repairs. Package: Competitive salary up to GBP50,000 (depending on experience) Overtime available Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week) Company vehicle or car allowance Annual leave and bank holidays Generous pension scheme up to 5 Training and development courses Role objectives: Provide technical support and guidance on the telephone to engineers out in the field. Interact between administration team, management team and regional engineering team to disseminate information into the field. Monitor engineers and promote best practice in health and safety, engineering and customer care. Health and Safety performance targets Work standards targets PACE : Profit after controllable expenses Conformity with our core processes and work flows To be the Subject Matter Expert for your regional teams key technical competencies. Ensure a professional image of the client is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted. To liaise with client staff to determine requirements and to promote continuous improvement works and project related activity. Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life: long: learning. Qualifications: Technically qualified to at least City and Guilds level/ UK Level 3 NVQ in relevant electrical disciplines or time: served with suitable experience Relevant H and S qualification GCSE.
