ABOUT THE TEAM Shaner has an immediate opportunity at our Holiday Inn (98 rooms) located in Jacksonville, Florida. The hotel is on the East Loop of I-295 and Baymeadows Road, Southeast of downtown Jacksonville. It is convenient located close to shops and eateries at the St. Johns Town Center and The Avenues shopping mall. The University of North Florida, Mayo Clinic and Florida State Community College South Campus are all nearby. The hotel is only 15 minutes to the Beaches, and 14 miles from Jacksonville's Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve that offers hiking, biking, kayaking and other activities. With approximately 4000 sq/ft. You can find out more by visiting our website, www.shanercorp.com!JOB DESCRIPTION * This is a morning shift, primarily breakfast shifts. * Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. * Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. * Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. * Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public. * Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding. * High school graduate or equivalent. * ServSafe and/or food safety training. * Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
