QC OFFICER – INCOMING INSPECTION OXFORD Competitive Salary An exciting medical device organisation are currently recruiting for a QC Officer to join their growing team based in Oxford on a permanent basis. Reporting to the QC Manager, the core function of the role will be to perform product release testing, as well as planning, performing and documenting goods-in inspections. This role will be strongly aligned with the Operations / Warehouse departments and the key responsibilities are as follows: You will maintain GDPR / c GMP compliance within the incoming inspection and quarantine areas A large part of the position, at least initially, will involve helping to create procedures and work instructions Support implementation and improvements to incoming and inspection areas Maintain traceability of incoming goods through SAP identification, visual management and quarantining Performing technical tests and visual inspections on manufactured products Assist with non-conforming material investigations into component or device issues Trending issues within the incoming goods or release testing Support external audits FDA, BSI etc. To be considered for the role candidates will be Degree educated with experience of working in an incoming inspection area for Medical Devices. Candidates must have working knowledge of GDPR / c GMP requirements, a good understanding of GMP compliance requirements in Quality Control, along with a strong ability to create and write SOPs and Work Instructions/Specifications. An understanding of inspection criteria, use of drawings / specifications is essential, along with experience using basic measurement tools.
