Description:
We are seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to join our team, specializing in land and site development projects. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in interpreting, organizing, and executing technical assignments, contributing to the planning and execution of surveying projects that have significant implications for our organization's initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, development, coordination, and direction of mid-level to moderately scoped projects, or assist in guiding surveying programs of limited complexity. Participate in the conceptualization, planning, and research of problem areas with moderate scope and complexity, employing unconventional approaches and sophisticated research techniques. Apply advanced theories, concepts, and principles within your area of expertise, staying updated on industry developments to recommend program changes or new initiatives. Supervise survey department staff, professionals, and technicians, ensuring progress aligns with overall objectives and recommending adjustments as needed. Cultivate and maintain client relationships through effective communication and participation in local civic organizations and events. Perform additional duties as assigned and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) in Georgia as a requirement, with registration in additional states desirable. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD/Terramodel CADD software. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver exemplary customer service. Capacity to work independently and complete assignments within prescribed parameters and standard practices.
