Hardware Design Engineer - Leeds This small, innovative company is developing a range of low-power navigation products and is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer who can bring enthusiasm and new ideas to the design process. To remain as the market leader in their field, they are continually developing products and innovating with the addition of new technologies and sensors to produce the critical data that their clients need. In order to accelerate the development of their next generation of products for both our existing market, as well as new market opportunities they are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Hardware Design Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in electronic hardware design and development. Design for manufacture is a key part of the available position, therefore as a minimum an in-depth appreciation and understanding of this critical aspect of the role is required. The role would ultimately involve the candidate having responsibility for all aspects of electronic hardware design, including managing the work of junior members of the team. Essential skills and experience: A minimum of a 2:1 Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or largely similar degree High performance multi-layer PCB design experience of Circuit Studio or Altium would be highly desirable Able to demonstrate an in-depth appreciation and understanding of design for manufacture Experienced in digital interfacing to a wide range of peripheralinteractionperienced.
