What We Are Looking For: We are seeking an experienced manager with 7-10 years experience in internal audit, compliance testing, or audit sustainment and remediation services for a US Federal Agency. Must have experience leading a team and possess excellent analytical skills, technical leadership ability, and client-facing experience delivering high-level support. Requirements: US Citizenship (Required). BA/BS Degree (Required). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Seven (7) or more years’ total experience in the Federal workspace (Required). Seven (7) or more years of federal government accounting or audit experience, or Experience in conducting Risk Assessments and Internal Control reviews in accordance with the GAO Green Book, OMB Circular A-123, and DoD RMIC guidance. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and written. Experience managing or coordinating the activities of Accountants and/or Auditors, serving as a group leader or coordinator acting as liaison with clients. Experience in providing financial transaction research and analysis activities, which may include the review of individual project work papers and documentation necessary to support findings. Must currently be employed as a Manager at a management consulting firm or IPA directly supporting a U.S. Federal Agency financial management or audit engagement. Must live in the greater Washington DC region: DC, MD, or VA. This is a remote opportunity that requires monthly/biweekly office visit Preferred: CDFM and/or CGFM certification. Master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
