We are currently looking for an experienced PRN Surgical Assistant to join our team in Sugar Land. If you are seeking a challenge that aligns with your goals, we encourage you to apply now.Applicants should have availability on Thursdays and ideally another day for on-call status. Compensation will be based on availability and on-call status. Responsibilities:• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally• Ensure timely submission of documentation• Meet patients in the pre-op area• Provide support to surgeons from various specialties• Assist OR staff in positioning, prepping, and draping patients Qualifications:• Must be a Certified Surgical Assistant• Should have at least 2 years of experience with case logs in OB-GYN and General surgery• Flexible availability for work hours, primarily during the daytime from 7 am to 4 pm• Possess a license in the State of Texas (preferred)• Experience in Orthopedics, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, or Vascular surgery is a plus About Company: Avant First Assistants was established in 2012 and has since been providing excellent services to numerous surgeons, hospitals, and surgery centers.
