Position Summary: We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking forklift operator/warehouse associate to join our team. In this position, you will operate forklifts and other equipment in a warehouse setting. Ability to safely load, unload and move materials with a forklift. Receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. Organize stock, maintain inventory; process, pack, and ship orders. Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure efficient operations. Qualifications : Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment. Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork. Operate a forklift to unload incoming shipments, compare documents for accuracy and notify the appropriate personnel of any discrepancies or damage. Identify and store material accordingly Order Fulfillment – Using appropriate paperwork, locate, pull and stage material for shipment Shipping – Package materials, follow shipping method requested and submit paperwork upon completion Will Call – Ability to assist will-call and walk-in customers Maintain a safe and clean work environment; notify management of any issues or concerns. Operate saw to cut materials to specified dimensions Physical Demands (Warehouse/Machine Shop): The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
