Will normally plan, conduct, and supervise engineering design reviews and analysis assignments involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects, by their complexity and difficulty, require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in a specific engineering discipline. What You Will Do: Provide day-to-day leadership of Engineering staff assigned. Assign projects to other Engineers and monitor the progress of all assigned projects. Ensure the delivery of high-quality service and maintenance of good customer relations. Perform detailed engineering review of plans for compliance with applicable Rules, Standards, Regulations, and contract requirements. Devise new approaches to problems encountered and recommend changes in methods, procedures, or design where necessary. Monitor the technical quality, content, consistency, continuity, and timeliness of action of all assigned projects. Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of technical responsibility. Perform engineering reviews and analyses when necessary. Review other Engineers' work and provide appropriate guidance and training when assigned and when necessary. Advise assigned staff in matters related to applying Rules and Regulations.
