Job Title: Production Operative Welder Location: Lopen, South Petherton, TA13 5JS Salary: GBP11.50 : GBP13.97 per hour, depending on experience Job Type: Full time, Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week : hours may extend to meet demand in busy periods About us: Em Tech Hatchery Systems manufacture incubation and hatchery systems which we supply to customers all over the world. Over the past 25 years weve gained a wealth of experience at the cutting edge of hatchery incubation and ventilation technology. We recognise the importance of getting the best results, not only from new equipment, but also from existing systems. Please note that the location of the business will be moving to Sparkford within the next 6:12 months. About the Role: We are looking for a Welder to cut and join metals through fusion welding and spot welding. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts. The job is important as it provides a critical path in the cabinet assembly build along with many other assemblies within the business. A welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Key aspects of the role: Inputting of clear and accurate completion of internal Work Orders via companies ERP system To work proactively as part of a team and individually to improve productivity and efficiency Safe material handling, including manual pallet truck operation, training will be provided Responsible for cleanliness and tidiness of the welding plant and immediate area Ensure production schedule is followed by the Work to Lists Assist where necessary within the Production facility This not a definitive list and is subject to change as the business needs deem necessary.
