Director of Finance Salary: A GBP 70,000 p. a. pro: rata Hours: 22.5 per week (Part: time, permanent), 2pm finish on a Friday Location: North Leeds : Office based About us For over 145 years, Leeds Jewish Welfare Board has provided support the Jewish community and North Leeds community. Our vision is to positively change lives and we do this by delivering an extensive range of community support and registered care services to over 1,000 people every month. Role Summary As a member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee the finance department and be responsible for the overall effective financial management of LJWB. You will lead the preparation and coordination of the external audit, prepare key reports and management accounts for the Board and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be experienced and resilient; and passionately committed to the work of LJWB and be driven to succeed. They will have an understanding of the issues facing the Jewish community and charities especially in Leeds, and have a strong track record in service development, delivery, and finance.
