Book transport cargo space and prepare quotations and invoices. Confirm transport arrangements Complete export documentation such as Bills of Lading Liaise with international freight forwarders to arrange pickup and delivery of goods advise clients of the costs of transporting goods and of the arrangements that have been made check incoming goods against documents keep records of goods dispatched and received organize the delivery of goods for export or to an importer's premises Prepare shipments for dispatch Communicate with carriers such as road, rail, air, and sea companies Receives PO's using a Warehouse Management System. Pick orders by interpreting customer specific work instructions. Adhering to the company's safety standards and enforcing safety regulations Maintain clean and orderly work area and warehouse Responsible for the accuracy of all system transactions Verify that the quality of outbound loads meet customer expectations Responsible for adhering and maintaining the company's ISO standards WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Computerized Warehouse Management System experience Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements Ability to use basic tools, various material handler equipment and hand-held scanners.
