Field Sales Executive Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duration: 3-4 months with possible contract to hire Description: Responsible for sharing Client solutions with members of the community in a door to door sales approach. This includes having energy, knowledge and ability to overcome concerns and questions from customers. Ability to learn the Tech industry and speak with ease and comfort about the many solutions and offerings of Client Yes, you will be a technology expert after training. You will continue to receive training, feedback and advice from industry leaders throughout your career and there are many changes to apply those skills in careers throughout the Company. Demonstrate your expertise in customer service by wowing each customer with each transaction. Even if the neighbor is not or elects not be a customer, we want them to leave the conversation with a great feeling about Client and the amazing team that works here. Attention to detail and ability to maintain mileage/expense reports and share back weekly reports of your progress. Who is the customer (internal/external): Internal as well as work with External customers. Job Details and Requirements Section Explain what the scope of the work/project is: Increase in workload for the Residential Field Sales Team. The goal is to get penetration and target markets as close to those markets as close to those markets as possible. Looking for candidates who are ideally within a 30-minute drive from their target markets. Seeking quality salespeople who can sell fiber on impulse. 85-95% of the job is going to be outside talking to potential customers. Seeking candidates who are a little bit more tenured as this is not an entry level sales position, however Client does provide a tailored training class that last over a week. What is the size of the group this position will be supporting: Team of 20+ people as the teams continue to grow. What is the technical environment: Workers will be granted a company provided tablet. Describe work environment / team culture: Each employee will be granted a small territory where they will be walking from house to house, pitching the product and trying to close on sales. 1 week of training required, where scope of position will be thoroughly explained as well as shadowing a technician and veteran field agent. Based on the job description what does a typical day look like: Each employee will be granted a small territory of around 3-5 blocks where they will be walking from house to house, pitching the product and trying to close on sales. Candidate Detail Section What are the top 3-5 skills / technologies and qualifications required? Sales oriented. Basic computer skills to work the company iPad. What non-technical Skills are necessary (such as communication, problem solving, team player, i.e.): Have a good sense of integrity. People person Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. Money motivated mindset Reliable transportation Good time management Honor commitments Ability to be a good student. Memorization (Required to memorize a sales pitch) Ideal Candidate background and how many years required: No previous experience required, prefers candidates with a sale-oriented mindset. It's a plus if they worked in outside sales or telecom industry previously.
