Description:
Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department. Exercises professional judgment in performing duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities. Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience. Must have Client equipment experience. Associate degree in Allied Health with an area of study or major: Radiologic Technology. BLS is required through AHA and, ARRT, ODH certification. Preferred: Travel experience preferred.
